The science · no nonsense

Promising, and honestly told.

The microbiome is the lever and food is the delivery system — but the science is maturing, not settled. So here’s what the evidence supports, what it doesn’t yet, and exactly how we keep our claims disciplined. No diagnosis. No over-claiming.

The vocabulary

The ‘biotics’ family, side by side

Four words that get used loosely. The distinctions matter — for what we formulate and for what we’re allowed to say.

01

Probiotic

Live microorganisms that, in adequate amounts, confer a health benefit.

Our live cultures + added strains — they must survive to your gut.

02

Prebiotic

A substrate selectively used by your microbes to confer a benefit.

Added fibers in mixes like Regularity that feed the flora.

03

Synbiotic

Live microbes plus a substrate that work together.

A culture carrying both live strains and a prebiotic fiber.

04

Postbiotic

A preparation of inanimate microbes and/or their components that confers a benefit.

The fermentation-derived compounds already in every jar.

Postbiotics · ISAPP 2021

The compounds that keep working.

“A preparation of inanimate microorganisms and/or their components that confers a health benefit on the host.”

— THE ISAPP CONSENSUS DEFINITION, 2021

A long, controlled ferment generates them naturally. Because they’re set at production and stable, a fresh cultured yogurt can tell a “probiotics + postbiotics” story that capsules and shelf-stable powders can’t fully match.

01
Gut barrier

Components that strengthen tight junctions and stimulate mucus — supporting the gut lining.

02
Immune balance

Cell-wall fragments and exopolysaccharides that help modulate immune signalling.

03
Metabolic

Short-chain fatty acids — butyrate, propionate, acetate — that act as signalling molecules and fuel.

04
Shelf-honest

Set at production and stable, postbiotics keep delivering even as live counts settle in the jar.

The library · 12 strains

Well-characterized, named to the designation.

Strain specificity is real: a benefit shown for one strain doesn’t transfer to another. So we tie every claim to the specific strain — ideally one with human data.

Culture
Proof, not promises

Every batch, lab-certified before it ships.

We test every production batch for live CFU count and for purity — Salmonella, Listeria, E. coli, yeast and mould — before a single jar leaves. The certificate of analysis goes in your box and is tied to your jar by QR.

It answers the one real objection to probiotics — are they even alive when I eat them? — and doubles as our food-safety control for a live, custom dairy product.

Our claims

What we say — and what we never will.

We live in structure/function language: how a specific strain supports a normal body function. The instant a claim becomes a disease claim, the product becomes an unapproved drug. We don’t cross that line.

✓ How we talk
“Supports digestive comfort.”
“Helps maintain normal immune function.”
“Supports the gut–brain axis.”
✕ What we won’t claim
“Treats IBS.”
“Cures anxiety.”
“Diagnoses your microbiome.”

These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. The intake is wellness guidance, not medical advice.
